ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar on Wednesday welcomed a delegation of senior Bangladeshi civil servants at Pakistan’s Foreign Office, calling the visit an important development in efforts to improve bilateral relations between Pakistan and Bangladesh.
According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, the Bangladeshi officials are participating in a three-week executive training programme under the Pakistan-Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor Initiative. The visit is being viewed as a historic institutional exchange, taking place more than five decades after the two countries established separate paths following 1971.
Officials stated that the Pakistan-Bangladesh Knowledge Corridor was introduced in Dhaka in August 2025, featuring a commitment to provide 500 scholarships over five years. The programme aims to expand educational cooperation, academic partnerships, and people-to-people engagement between the two nations.
