Pakistan Armed Forces mark first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq nationwide

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – On the first anniversary of Marka-e-Haq, the leadership of the Pakistan Armed Forces extended heartfelt congratulations to the nation, according to a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations.

Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf, and Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu jointly conveyed their greetings to all ranks of the armed forces and the nation, marking the occasion with deep reverence and national pride.

The anniversary was observed across Pakistan with ceremonies highlighting unity, gratitude, and remembrance. Floral wreaths were laid at memorials of martyrs, and special prayers were offered in recognition of their sacrifices for the country’s sovereignty, security, and stability.

According to the ISPR statement, Marka-e-Haq has emerged as a defining moment in Pakistan’s national journey, symbolizing courage, professionalism, and unity between the armed forces and the people.

The military leadership stated that Pakistan’s response during the events associated with Marka-e-Haq exposed hostile propaganda, disinformation campaigns, and false narratives, while reinforcing the country’s credibility on the international stage.

It further noted that despite facing hybrid threats, including proxy challenges, Pakistan’s armed forces demonstrated strong operational capability across land, air, sea, cyber, and information domains.

The statement added that the country has since strengthened its defensive posture and reinforced deterrence capabilities, reflecting the professionalism and preparedness of its armed forces.

The anniversary also reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace and stability, emphasizing that lasting peace in South Asia requires dialogue, mutual respect, and adherence to international principles.

The armed forces reiterated that with the support of a united nation, they remain fully prepared to safeguard Pakistan’s sovereignty, territorial integrity, and national security.
