Punjab Police reshuffles 16 officers in major transfers

New postings announced across Punjab Police departments

LAHORE: (Web Desk) – The Punjab Police has carried out a significant administrative reshuffle, issuing transfers and new postings for 16 police officers across different units and districts.

According to an official notification, several senior officers have been assigned new responsibilities in key departments including logistics, investigations, counter-terrorism, traffic, and special operations.

Faisal Shahzad, who was awaiting appointment, has been posted as AIG Logistics, while Abdullah Luck has been transferred from AG Logistics to the National Police Academy in Islamabad.

Punjab Boards Announce Intermediate Exams 2026 Schedule

Mansoor Ul Hassan has been appointed as SP MP Faisalabad from SP Traffic Headquarters Lahore. Muhammad Rashid has been posted as SSP CTD Lahore, while Captain (retd) Muhammad Wahid has been directed to report to CPO after serving as SSP CTD.

Ahmed Nawaz Shah has been assigned as SSP Investigations Faisalabad.

In other postings, Shahid Ahmed Khan has been appointed SP Survey Special Branch Punjab Lahore. Hassan Jahangir has been posted as SSP PCCD Rawalpindi Region, while Benish Fatima has been appointed SP Operations Safe City Chakwal.

Hafiz Imtiaz Ahmed has been posted as SP Investigation Gujrat, Muhammad Riaz Naz as SP Investigation Mianwali, Azhar Saeed as SP Investigation Hafizabad, and Akhtar Ali as SP Investigation Jaranwala Division, Faisalabad.

Muhammad Khan has been appointed SP President Gujranwala, completing the latest round of administrative changes within the police department.
