Peshawar: (Anwarzeb Khan) – Inspector General of Police Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Zulfiqar Hameed, has taken swift notice of the tragic killing of noted religious scholar Maulana Idrees, who was martyred in an attack carried out by unknown assailants.
According to police officials, the IGP has urgently called for a detailed report from the Regional Police Officer in Mardan and instructed law enforcement agencies to accelerate efforts to arrest those behind the incident. He stressed that no delay would be tolerated in ensuring justice.
