Riphah Hosts Major International Students Expo 2026

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – Riphah International University has inaugurated the 6th International Students Convention & Expo (ISCE) 2026 at its Gulberg Greens campus in Islamabad, bringing together a large gathering of students, academics, industry leaders, and international delegates from Pakistan and abroad. The four-day event, running from May 3 to May 6, aims to promote youth engagement, academic collaboration, and global dialogue.

The opening ceremony was attended by over 1,000 participants, including vice chancellors from more than 20 universities and more than 250 international students. Chairman of the Higher Education Commission, Dr. Niaz Ahmed Akhtar, graced the event as the chief guest.

In his welcome address, Vice Chancellor Prof. Dr. Anis Ahmad (Sitara-e-Imtiaz) highlighted RIU’s commitment to value-based education and ethical leadership. He said the university seeks to extend learning beyond classrooms by focusing on character building, innovation, and social responsibility, adding that ISCE 2026 reflects its mission to develop responsible global citizens.

The event also saw participation from diplomats and members of the international academic community, including ambassadors and high commissioners from Kazakhstan and Mauritius, along with diplomats from Yemen, Malaysia, and Palestine. Their presence emphasized the growing global importance of the convention as a platform for cultural exchange and educational cooperation.

Recognized as one of Pakistan’s largest student-led academic and cultural gatherings, ISCE 2026 includes participation from over 100 universities, educational institutions, and corporate partners. The event features more than 35 competitions, workshops, innovation and industrial exhibitions, education fairs, and cultural programs designed to encourage creativity and skill development among students.

Organizers say the convention will help strengthen academic linkages, support youth development, and enhance Pakistan’s role as a destination for international student engagement.
