Viagra to Be Manufactured in Pakistan

KARACHI: (Web Desk) – AGP Limited has announced that its Board of Directors, in a meeting held on April 29, 2026, approved entering into an arrangement for the manufacturing and marketing of the pharmaceutical product Viagra in Pakistan.

According to the disclosure submitted to Pakistan Stock Exchange Limited, the company will act as a Contract Manufacturing Organization (CMO) for the product under an agreement with one of its associated companies. In addition to manufacturing, AGP Limited will also obtain the rights to commercialize, promote, and market the product within the country.

The company stated that the final agreements between the parties are currently being finalized. Subject to the completion of all regulatory and legal formalities, the product is expected to be launched in the Pakistani market in May 2026.

Industry observers believe that adding a globally recognized product like Viagra to AGP’s portfolio could enhance the company’s market position and contribute positively to its future revenue streams.

Viagra (sildenafil) is widely used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction and has a significant global market presence.
