Trump Slams NATO, Allies Over Refusal to Support Iran Efforts
In Tehran, tensions surrounding the ongoing Iran conflict escalated after Donald Trump reacted sharply to allied nations declining his request for support. Speaking at the White House, Trump stated that the United States does not require external assistance, emphasizing the country’s strength and independence.
He criticized NATO, calling its stance a “serious mistake” and suggesting the alliance should have played a more active role in the region earlier. Trump also responded to Emmanuel Macron after France declined involvement in operations related to the Strait of Hormuz, claiming Macron’s tenure would not last much longer.

The former president further named countries including Japan, Australia, and South Korea, expressing disappointment that while many nations supported US actions regarding Iran, they did not provide tangible assistance when requested.
It is worth noting that several countries—including the United Kingdom, France, Australia, Japan, South Korea, and China—had earlier declined to join US-led efforts concerning the Strait of Hormuz, highlighting divisions among global powers on the issue.
