Qatar warns of global risks from escalating regional tensions

DOHA: (Web Desk) – The Emir of Qatar, Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani, held a telephone conversation with Donald Trump to discuss the rapidly changing situation in the Middle East.

Officials said the discussion centered on the growing tensions across the region and the possible consequences for global security and stability.

During the call, Sheikh Tamim voiced serious concern over Iranian attacks that he said targeted Qatar and other countries in the region. He warned that the escalating conflict could pose a significant threat to international peace if it continues to intensify.

The Qatari leader cautioned that the ongoing crisis could have far-reaching effects on both regional and global stability if immediate steps were not taken to contain the situation.

Sheikh Tamim stressed the need for stronger diplomatic efforts aimed at easing tensions and ultimately ending the conflict through dialogue and negotiation.
