8th Grade Students in Punjab to Start Board Exams

Lahore: (Web Desk) – The Punjab Education Curriculum Training and Assessment Authority has announced that the annual board examinations for 8th-grade students across Punjab will commence on March 9, 2026.

According to the official date sheet, the first paper will be Mathematics, scheduled from 9 am to 12 pm. Subsequent papers include Urdu on March 10, English on March 11, and Science on March 12. PECTAA will oversee examinations for four subjects, while the remaining papers will be conducted by individual schools.

Students have been instructed to arrive at the examination center 30 minutes before the start time. Bringing mobile phones, smartwatches, or any electronic devices is strictly prohibited. Candidates must carry Form B and their Roll Number Slip, along with a blue or black ballpoint pen and a clipboard. Students taking the mathematics exam are permitted to bring geometry boxes.

No additional sheets will be provided during the exams, and students will be required to use only the provided answer copies. Exiting the examination hall before the end of the session is not allowed.

The results for the 8th-grade board examinations are expected to be announced on March 31, 2026.
