COLOMBO: Chairman of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Mohsin Naqvi, arrived in Colombo where he received a warm welcome from Sri Lankan officials.

The Sri Lankan Deputy Minister for Sports said that Mohsin Naqvi’s visit to Sri Lanka is a matter of great pleasure and that he is warmly welcomed from the bottom of their hearts.

Speaking on the occasion, the PCB Chairman stated that Pakistan always attaches great importance to its strong relations with Sri Lanka.

He said that all of Pakistan’s matches in the T20 World Cup are being held in Sri Lanka and that giving due respect and honor to the host country remains a top priority.

During the meeting between Mohsin Naqvi and the Sri Lankan Deputy Minister for Sports, detailed discussions were held on further strengthening cricketing ties, ensuring the successful hosting of matches, and enhancing partnership between the two countries.

The PCB Chairman added that Sri Lanka’s hosting of the matches will not only promote cricket but also strengthen the bonds of brotherhood between the people of both nations.
