Iran claims enhanced military strength after conflict with Israel

Tehran: Iran’s Army Chief, Major General Amir Hatami, has said that Iran is now in a much stronger and more powerful position than it was during the 12-day war with Israel.

He stated that the 2025 conflict with Israel was a unique and extraordinary experience for Iran’s armed forces, as Iran was the only country to engage in direct and large-scale confrontation with Israel, which is backed by Western technology and international support.

According to Iran’s semi-official news agency Tasnim, Amir Hatami said that Iran has significantly enhanced its defense and military preparedness over the past six months following the war.

As a result, he added, Iran is now fully capable of countering any potential threat from Israel or the United States.

The army chief said that Iranian forces learned valuable lessons from the conflict, which would further strengthen the country’s defense in the future.
