Saim Ayub has now tied an unfortunate cricket record. He made his sixth duck in T20 internationals this year. This places him alongside Zimbabwe’s Richard Ngarava, who also had six ducks in 2024.
It has been a very tough year for the young Pakistani batsman. While he has shown great skill in some games, turning good beginnings into big scores has been difficult. This lack of steady performance is starting to worry fans and experts alike.
