Mohsin Naqvi Meets Asia Cup 2025 Team Captains at Dubai Stadium

Dubai – The Asian Cricket Council (ACC) Chairman, Mohsin Naqvi, arrived at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium on Tuesday and held a special meeting with the captains of all teams participating in the Asia Cup 2025.

In a warm and cordial interaction, Naqvi personally greeted Pakistan’s captain Salman Agha, India’s skipper Suryakumar Yadav, Afghanistan’s Rashid Khan, Bangladesh’s Litton Das, and Hong Kong’s Yasim Murtaza. He also welcomed Sri Lanka’s Charith Asalanka, UAE’s Mohammad Wasim, and Oman’s Jatinder Singh, extending his best wishes to all leaders of the competing nations.

Speaking on the occasion, Mohsin Naqvi emphasized the significance of the Asia Cup, highlighting that the tournament offers fans not only the excitement of the traditional Pakistan-India rivalry but also thrilling contests among other Asian cricketing nations.

He praised the Emirates Cricket Board for its collaboration with the ACC in organizing excellent arrangements, ensuring a world-class cricketing event.

“Cricket is not just a sport but a beautiful means of uniting hearts and spreading love,” Naqvi remarked. He assured that the ACC, along with its member boards, remains fully committed and enthusiastic about the successful staging of the 2025 Asia Cup.

The meeting was also attended by Pakistan Cricket Board’s Chief Operating Officer Sameer Ahmed, Pakistan Super League’s CEO Salman Naseer, and senior officials from various cricket boards.
