Kashmir Award Presented to Raja Najabat Hussain at Excellency Event in Bolton
Bolton/MIPUR: (Special Correspondent): Renowned advocate for the peaceful resolution of the Kashmir issue and a strong voice for the oppressed and brave people of Jammu and Kashmir, Raja Najabat Hussain, Sitara-e-Pakistan and Chairman of Jammu & Kashmir Right to Self-Determination Movement International (UK), has been honored with a new award.
During the Excellency Awards ceremony held in Bolton, Raja Najabat Hussain was presented with the Kashmir Award in recognition of his lifelong dedication to the Kashmir cause.
The award was jointly pre-sented by Pakistan’s Consul General in Manchester, Tariq Wazir Khan, and Dr. Liaqat Malik (Chairman of Easy Money & DM Digital Plus).
The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries including Advisor to the Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Ms. Nabila Ayub Advocate (MLA), Samina Khan, Nina Rania Khan, Lord Mayor of Bradford Councillor Muhammad Shafiq, Harry Boota, and others. Participants paid rich tribute to Raja Najabat Hussain’s unmatched services and relentless efforts to raise the Kashmir issue on international platforms.
Speaking to the media, Raja Najabat Hussain said,
“We Kashmiris may be living across different countries around the world, but our hearts remain with our homeland. We do not seek any awards or compensation for our struggle for the freedom of Jammu and Kashmir. Our only prayer is that the people of Indian-occupied Kashmir soon witness the dawn of freedom. The atrocities committed by India in Jammu and Kashmir are unmatched in world history.
