Case Registered Against YouTuber Rajab Butt for Alleged Rape, Obscene Video & Blackmail
Authorities are now investigating the new allegations, which have sparked outrage on social media.
Lahore – A case has been registered against popular YouTuber Rajab Butt, Man Dogar, and three others for allegedly drugging and raping a woman, filming an obscene video, and blackmailing her. The case was filed at Nawab Town Police Station based on a complaint by social media activist Ayesha Sharafat.
In the FIR, the victim stated that she became friends with a man named Salman Haider on social media and frequently visited various restaurants with him. One day, Salman allegedly invited her to a house in Bahria Orchard, where he drugged and raped her. He also recorded an obscene video and later used it to blackmail her. The accused reportedly sent the video to the victim’s sister, Palwasha, after which both sisters went to Salman’s house to confront him.
According to the FIR, Rajab Butt, Man Dogar, and Jawad Haider were present at Salman’s house when the sisters arrived. The accused allegedly locked them in a room, forcibly reset their mobile phones, and threatened them before letting them go.
This incident comes shortly after another controversy involving Rajab Butt and his associates, where a video of them allegedly assaulting a young man went viral on social media. The victim initially sought legal action but later withdrew the complaint after Butt apologized, calling the incident a misunderstanding.
