PSL 10: Quetta Gladiators Edge Out Multan Sultans in Last-Ball Thriller

Rawalpindi – In a nail-biting encounter during the 28th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) Season 10, Quetta Gladiators defeated Multan Sultans by 2 wickets, chasing down the 186-run target on the final delivery of the match.

Batting second at Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium, Quetta Gladiators showcased resilience and composure. Hassan Nawaz played a match-winning knock of 61* runs, while Khawaja Nafay contributed a solid 51 runs, keeping the chase on track.

Multan Sultans, who had opted to bat first after winning the toss, posted a competitive total of 185 for 7 in their allotted 20 overs. Yasir Khan stood out with 45 runs, and Tayyab Tahir added 36 runs. Captain Mohammad Rizwan was dismissed early, scoring just 4 runs.

For the Gladiators, Usman Tariq was the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets, while Faheem Ashraf, Khurram Shehzad, Abrar Ahmed, and Mohammad Wasim took one wicket each.

On the bowling front for Multan, Shahid Aziz claimed 3 wickets, while Mohammad Hasnain, Ubaid Shah, and Peter Hatzoglou took one wicket apiece.
