NAB to arrest Bushra Bibi in £190 million case: reports

ISLAMABAD: The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has decided to arrest Bushra Bibi, the wife of former Prime Minister Imran Khan, in connection with the £190 million corruption case, according to sources.

NAB’s Rawalpindi team has been dispatched to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa to execute the arrest. The decision follows the issuance of non-bailable arrest warrants by the accountability court in relation to the case.

Earlier, NAB had attempted to apprehend Bushra Bibi in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa three days ago. The accountability court’s arrest warrants remain in place as part of the ongoing investigation into the financial misconduct linked to the case.
