Hamza Khan Wins Asian Junior Squash Championship

Overall, Pakistan secured 2 gold, 2 silver, and 4 bronze medals in the tournament. Malaysia won 3 titles, India clinched 2, and Hong Kong secured 1 title.

ISLAMABAD: Top seed Hamza Khan from Pakistan triumphed in the 31st Asian Junior Squash Championship held in Islamabad, while compatriot Sohail Adnan secured the Under-13 final victory.

In the Under-19 final, Hamza Khan faced off against Malaysia’s third-seed Harith Danial and won convincingly. The scoreline of the match was 5-11, 10-12, and 9-11 in favor of the Pakistani player.

In the Under-17 final, Pakistan’s Abdullah Nawaz suffered a defeat against Malaysia’s Nikhlesh Sur. Despite leading 0-2 initially, Abdullah lost the match 2-3 after a strong comeback by the Malaysian player.

Additionally, Sohail Adnan of Pakistan emerged victorious in the Under-13 final.
