Pak Golf Fed Hosts Successful 3rd PGF Match Play Golf Championship

The Pakistan Golf Federation (PGF) proudly announces the successful conclusion of its third PGF Match Play Golf Championship held at the prestigious Rumanza Golf And Country Club, Multan.

Islamabad: Pak Golf Fed Hosts Successful 3rd PGF Match Play Golf Championship. The championship, which featured top amateurs, senior pro amateurs, and amateur ladies, showcased the finest talent from the National Amateur Golf Championship. Following intense competition through the rounds of 32 and 16, the top four emerged, including semi-finalists, runner-ups, and finalists, each vying for victory.
In the ladies’ category, Tahmina Ahmad of Gymkhana Golf Club displayed exceptional skill and determination, securing the Match Play Golf Championship trophy. Meanwhile, Colonel Faisal Rashid from Gujranwala Golf Club claimed victory in the senior amateur category, demonstrating prowess and precision on the course.
The pinnacle of achievement came with Mr. Usama Nadeem’s of Ibex Golf Club triumph in the main championship category, earning the coveted Match Play Championship trophy in the Men’s Amateur Category.
The seamless execution of the championship was attributed to the dedicated efforts of the organizing committee, led by Malik Kamran of PGF, and supported by Col Zahid Iqbal and representatives from Rumanza Golf And Country Club. Brig Fayyaz A Sial, Secretary of Rumanza Golf & Country Club, Multan, graced the prize Distribution Ceremony as Chief Guest, adding prestige and honor to the event.
