Dignitaries and Judges Honor Winners at Islamabad Bodybuilding Event

Islamabad: The annual bodybuilding competition organized by the Islamabad Bodybuilding Association concluded successfully, with Yahya Sardar clinching the Senior Physique Islamabad title and Shayan securing the Junior Physique Islamabad title.
The event was held at the Abpara Community Center, drawing a large crowd of spectators and supporters, all showcasing their enthusiasm for the sport. The competition was held under the patronage of Chief Patron Chaudhry Shafiq and Chairman Syed Noman Shah, who have been working tirelessly to promote bodybuilding in Islamabad.
Special guests at the event included former Federal Minister and Member of the National Assembly Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, former Deputy Mayor Chaudhry Rafat Javed Advocate, and Chairman Syed Noman Shah. They were on hand to distribute awards to the winners. The panel of judges included renowned bodybuilders Shaukat Shehzad, Muhammad Azeem, and Zahid Nadeem.
Dr. Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Member of the National Assembly, expressed his support for the development of a sports city in Islamabad, particularly for bodybuilding. He commended the Islamabad Bodybuilding Association’s efforts in promoting the sport and fostering a healthier environment for the youth.

Syed Noman Shah, who has been collaborating with Chaudhry Shafiq for decades to advance bodybuilding in the city, highlighted the importance of providing positive outlets and activities for the younger generation.
In a personal milestone, Yahya Sardar, who won the Senior Physique Islamabad title, is the son of Senior Journalist and renowned poet and writer Sardar Yousafzai, the Vice President of the Pushtun Journalists Association Islamabad. Yahya Sardar also works as an English news caster at Radio Pakistan.
