Admiral Naveed Ashraf confers military awards on distinguished naval personnel

ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – The Pakistan Navy Investiture Ceremony 2026 was held at Bahria Auditorium, where military honours were awarded to naval personnel for their outstanding professional services and dedication to duty.

Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Naveed Ashraf attended the ceremony as the chief guest and presented awards to officers, Chief Petty Officers, sailors, and civilian members of the Pakistan Navy.

During the event, 18 naval officers received the Sitara-i-Imtiaz (Military), while 11 officers were honoured with the Tamgha-i-Imtiaz (Military) for their distinguished contributions.

The ceremony also recognized the services of sailors and Chief Petty Officers, with 33 personnel receiving Tamgha-i-Khidmat (Military)-I, 82 receiving Tamgha-i-Khidmat (Military)-II, and 69 awarded Tamgha-i-Khidmat (Military)-III.

In addition, Letters of Commendation from the Chief of the Naval Staff were presented to 51 officers, sailors, Chief Petty Officers, and Navy civilians in appreciation of their exceptional performance and commitment.

A large number of senior serving and retired military officials, along with families of the award recipients, attended the prestigious ceremony in Karachi.
