WhatsApp Introduces New Call Menu Feature to Enhance User Experience

ISLAMABAD: WhatsApp has unveiled a new call menu feature aimed at improving the user experience for both individual and group chats. Currently available to select beta testers, the update simplifies calling options and allows users to create call links with ease.

The updated call interface replaces the previous voice and video call buttons with a single call button at the top of the chat window. In individual chats, the button initially displays a voice call icon, but users can tap it to access a menu offering the option to choose between a voice or video call.

One of the key highlights of this update is the ability to generate and share call links, making it easier for users to invite others to join ongoing conversations. Additionally, in group chats, the update allows users to select specific members to call instead of ringing the entire group, offering greater flexibility in communication.
