UHS Announces Admission Schedule for Public Sector Medical Colleges in Punjab

LAHORE: The University of Health Sciences (UHS) has unveiled the admission schedule for public sector medical colleges in Punjab, with the process set to commence in January 2025.

In line with the directives of the Punjab Medical and Dental Council (PM&DC), admissions will be conducted purely on merit and in a transparent manner.

MBBS Admissions Timeline

Online applications for the MBBS program in government medical colleges will be accepted from January 6 to January 15, offering a 10-day window for students to apply. The first merit list for MBBS admissions will be displayed on January 23, providing candidates with an idea of their chances for securing a seat in one of the prestigious medical colleges in Punjab.

BDS Admissions Timeline

For the BDS program, online applications for government dental colleges in Punjab will open from February 3 to February 11. The first merit list for BDS admissions will be displayed on February 20, offering dentistry aspirants insights into their merit prospects.

Both MBBS and BDS candidates can apply through the online admission portal on the UHS website, simplifying the process and making it more accessible. The online portal marks a significant improvement over the traditional paper-based system, minimizing errors and delays, and providing students with a seamless, user-friendly experience. Applicants will also be able to track their application status and receive updates, reducing uncertainty.
