Ayaz Sadiq Responds to Criticism Over Not Meeting PTI Founder

Ayaz Sadiq Open to Reconsider Role Amid Criticism

Islamabad: Speaker of the National Assembly, Ayaz Sadiq, has addressed the criticism directed at him for not facilitating a meeting with the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). In his response, Sadiq emphasized that his role is to facilitate dialogue between the government and opposition, and not to arrange specific meetings with individual political leaders.

He expressed regret over the allegations raised by PTI leaders regarding his failure to arrange a meeting with the PTI founder, clarifying that facilitating such a meeting was neither his mandate nor his responsibility. Sadiq added that he had not refused to meet any member of the National Assembly and that his office remains open to all.
