Lahore-Twist in Ameer Balaj Case, Police Intensify Search for Suspects in Daylight Shooting, The Lahore police have completed geo-fencing at the crime scene where the brother-in-law of Teefi Butt, a suspect in the Amir Balaj murder case, was killed. They are now analyzing suspicious calls identified through this process.
The geo-fencing covered the crime scene and surrounding areas. The victim was shot in broad daylight on Canal Road, one of the city’s busiest streets, fueling concerns about gang-related violence.

The police have attempted to gather statements from both the plaintiff in the case and the victim’s wife. However, they have not yet been able to record a statement from Javed Butt’s wife.
The suspects identified in the case remain at large. A detailed eyewitness account is needed to create a sketch of the shooters. Despite conducting a raid to apprehend the suspects, no arrests have been made so far.
