Weapons Recovered After Six Militants Killed in Balochistan Operation

QUETTA: (Web Desk)  Security forces have killed six militants affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan during an intelligence-based operation in the Sanni area of Balochistan’s Kachhi district under Operation Radd-ul-Fitan 3, according to security sources.

The sources said the militants were targeted using quadcopters during the operation. A substantial quantity of weapons and ammunition was also recovered from the site.

A clearance operation is underway in the area to search for any remaining militants and ensure security, the sources added.

They said security forces would continue operations against militant groups under the government’s Vision for Stability, reaffirming their commitment to countering terrorism across the country.

In separate operations earlier, security forces killed seven militants in Balochistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to security sources.

In Nok Kacha, located in Balochistan’s Chagai district, security forces killed two militants during an operation. Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the site, while militant hideouts were reportedly destroyed.

In another intelligence-based operation in the Bara area of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, five militants affiliated with Fitna al-Khawarij were killed, the sources said.

Security sources further reported that 11 militants affiliated with Fitna al-Hindustan had been killed in operations linked to acts of sabotage on August 31.

The sources said counterterrorism operations would continue in Balochistan to address the threat posed by militant groups.
