Sessions Judge Sahiwal Aurangzeb visited Central Jail Sahiwal

Sessions Judge Sahiwal Aurangzeb issued an order for the immediate release of 18 prisoners involved in minor crimes and heard the related questions of the courts
Sahiwal: Sessions Judge Sahiwal Aurangzeb visited Central Jail Sahiwal. Sahiwal District and Sessions Judge Sahiwal Aurangzeb visited Central Jail Sahiwal, received by Superintendent Jail Sajid Baig. Senior Civil Judge Mohammad Arif Khan Niazi and Miss Fauzia Haider Probation Officer were also with him.

He visited the women ward, prison hospital, juvenile ward and barracks of other prisoners and reviewed the arrangements. He visited the kitchen prisoners and also checked the quality of food. On this occasion, District and Sessions Judge Sahiwal Aurangzeb issued an order for the immediate release of 18 prisoners involved in minor crimes and heard the related questions of the courts of other prisoners and issued orders to resolve them. During the visit, he also planted saplings as part of the plantation drive in the jail.
Sahiwal formerly known as Montgomery, is a city in Punjab, Pakistan. It is the 21st largest city of Pakistan by population and the administrative capital of both Sahiwal District and Sahiwal Division. Sahiwal is approximately 180 km from the major city Lahore and 100 km from Faisalabad and lies between Lahore and Multan. Sahiwal is approximately 152 meters above the sea level.
