Abu Dhabi : (Web Desk) – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the United Arab Emirates has issued a strong warning over escalating tensions in the Strait of Hormuz, describing any attempt to weaponise the critical shipping route as “economic aggression” against the global community.
In a statement shared publicly, Minister of State Saeed Al Hajeri emphasized that disruption in the Strait would not impact a single nation alone but would pose a serious threat to global trade flows and economic stability.
Writing in Business Day, the minister called for a decisive and comprehensive approach to address concerns related to Iran, including its nuclear programme, missile and drone capabilities, and alleged backing of proxy groups in the region.
