Sardar Abid Hussain Abid Appointed PPP AJK Secretary

Rawalakot (Web Desk) – Senior Pakistan Peoples Party Azad Jammu & Kashmir leader and former Information Minister Sardar Abid Hussain Abid has been appointed as the Central Additional General Secretary of PPP AJK. The decision was made following the nomination by Bilawal Bhutto Zardari and approved by Chaudhry Muhammad Yaseen, with the official notification issued by General Secretary Faisal Mumtaz Rathore.

Sardar Abid Hussain Abid is recognized as a senior and ideological leader who has endured political hardships, including imprisonment, throughout his long career. He has held key roles such as Information Minister, Advisor to the Government, Chairman of the Public Accounts Committee, and Deputy General Secretary during the tenure of the late Benazir Bhutto. Additionally, he has served as Party Finance Secretary and Chairman of the Student Organization, earning respect for his dedication and sacrifices for PPP and political workers.
