Rowan Atkinson to Return to the Stage After 40 Years

Atkinson will perform only 30 shows as part of the limited stage run.

LONDON: (Showbiz Desk) – World-renowned comedian Rowan Atkinson, best known for his iconic character Mr Bean, is set to return to the stage after 40 years.

The actor will headline his first West End comedy sketch show in four decades, featuring a mix of new material as well as some of his most popular comedy sketches and characters.

The show will be staged at London’s Gillian Lynne Theatre next year, with Atkinson set to reunite with Blackadder co-writers Richard Curtis and Ben Elton, along with composer Howard Goodall.

Atkinson will perform only 30 shows as part of the limited stage run. The production is scheduled to run at the Gillian Lynne Theatre from February 8 to March 13.
