PML-N moves resolution against Gandapur’s remarks on Maryam

The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) MPA Hina Pervez Butt submitted on Monday a resolution in Punjab Assembly (PA) seeking apology and resignation from Federal Minister Kashmir Affairs Ali Amin Gandapur for his remarks against party vice president Maryam Nawaz.
The resolution stated that Gandapur’s use of obscene words about PML-N vice president Maryam Nawaz were ‘unbearable’.
“This House strongly condemns Gandapur’s unethical and non-parliamentary words about Maryam Nawaz,” she stated.
The resolution reads that the character assassinations and roundup of political opponents, the government has now resorted to attacks on individuals.
“Ali Amin Gandapur’s words about Maryam Nawaz are a matter of deep concern among PML-N cadres,” Butt mentioned in her resolution.
She added that the federal minister’s statement is provoking the youth.
“Federal Minister Ali Amin Gandapur should immediately apologize for his statement,” she demanded in the resolution.
She urged Prime Minister Imran Khan to immediately remove Gandapur from his cabinet.
