PM Sharif Condoles with Azerbaijan over Plane Crash Tragedy

PM Shehbaz Sharif Reaffirms Pakistan's Solidarity with Azerbaijan

ISLAMABAD – Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif visited the Embassy of Azerbaijan in Islamabad on Thursday to express his condolences over the tragic plane crash in Aktau, Kazakhstan, which claimed precious lives.

The prime minister offered prayers for the victims of the accident and extended his heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved families, praying for their patience. He also prayed for the swift recovery of those injured in the incident.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif emphasized that the people and government of Pakistan stand in full solidarity with the people of Azerbaijan during this time of sorrow. He reiterated the strong, fraternal ties between Pakistan and Azerbaijan, grounded in shared religion and cultural values.

Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Pakistan, Khazar Farhadov, expressed his gratitude to the prime minister for his visit, noting that his country deeply appreciated Pakistan’s support during this difficult period.

Federal Minister for Information and Broadcasting, Attaullah Tarar, and Special Assistant to the Prime Minister, Tariq Fatemi, accompanied the prime minister on his visit.
