PM Sharif Condemns Indian Attacks, Convenes National Security Committee Meeting
PM Summons NSC Meeting Amid Escalating Tensions
ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has strongly condemned what he termed as cowardly and unprovoked missile attacks by India on multiple locations within Pakistan, declaring that the nation reserves the right to respond with full force.
“The enemy has once again revealed its deceitful nature,” the Prime Minister said in a statement, emphasizing that Pakistan will not tolerate aggression and will deliver a powerful and calculated response.
He reaffirmed that the Pakistani people, alongside the armed forces, are fully prepared to confront and defeat any threat to national sovereignty.
In response to the escalating situation, the Prime Minister has summoned a high-level meeting of the National Security Committee (NSC) in Islamabad. According to Information Minister Attaullah Tarar, the meeting is scheduled for 10:00 AM today and will focus on assessing the security situation and determining Pakistan’s strategic response.

The NSC, comprising top civil and military leadership, is expected to take key decisions regarding defense preparedness and diplomatic measures in the wake of the Indian aggression.
