Deputy PM Dar Briefs UAE FM on NSC Decisions Regarding India’s Unilateral Actions

Pakistan, UAE Vow Closer Coordination Amid Regional Developments

Islamabad — Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, held a telephonic conversation on Tuesday with his UAE counterpart, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, to discuss the evolving regional situation and matters of mutual concern.

According to a statement from Pakistan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy PM Dar briefed the UAE foreign minister on the decisions taken by Pakistan’s National Security Committee (NSC) in response to India’s recent unilateral actions, unfounded allegations, and inflammatory rhetoric.

During the call, Sheikh Abdullah underscored the importance of maintaining regional stability through dialogue, restraint, and peaceful resolution of disputes.

The two leaders reaffirmed the deep-rooted fraternal relations between Pakistan and the UAE and agreed to maintain close coordination and consultations in view of the changing regional landscape. They also expressed a shared commitment to enhancing bilateral cooperation and promoting the common goals of peace, stability, and sustainable development.
