Negative politics of PDM cannot survive in ‘Naya’ Pakistan: CM Buzdar

Staff Reporter – Muzaffargarh:

Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar claimed on Monday that the opposition was working without any agenda, and strategy and reiterated that the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government would complete its five years.

Speaking to the members of the Punjab Assembly and party officials in Muzaffargarh, he said that the politics of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) – an alliance of the opposition parties – cannot survive in the ‘Naya’ Pakistan, a term Prime Minister Imran Khan had introduced during his election campaign.

“Punjab tops all provinces in terms of development. No city or town of Punjab will be deprived of the fruits of development. We will leave no stone unturned in the service of the people,” he said.

“The amount of development work done in Punjab during the last three years is unprecedented,” claimed the provincial chief minister and added, “All the development projects will be completed with speed and transparency.”

“A comprehensive program is being implemented to provide quality health and education facilities to the people of backward areas including Muzaffargarh.”

Buzdar said the opposition parties tried to stop the development journey at every opportunity. However, the people of Pakistan always rejected them.

“Despite the negative politics of the opposition, the journey of development is continuing in the country. We will not allow anyone to stand in the way of the welfare of the people,” said CM Buzdar.

“PDM can continue holding rallies. The government will complete its term.”

CM Buzdar also assured the Punjab Assembly members and party officials in Muzaffargarh that the government would resolve all their issues on a priority basis. Buzdar also directed to improve facilities at Ladies Park and ordered the restoration of an amusement park near Chenab River.
