PCB announces tri-nation T20 series with Afghanistan, Sri Lanka in Pakistan

All subsequent matches, including the final scheduled for November 29, will be held at Lahore’s iconic Gaddafi Stadium.

Lahore — The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has officially announced a historic tri-nation T20 series, marking the first time Pakistan will host a multi-nation T20 tournament on home soil. The series, featuring Pakistan, Afghanistan, and Sri Lanka, is scheduled to take place from November 17 to November 29, 2025.

The opening match of the tournament will be held on November 17 in Rawalpindi, where Pakistan will face Afghanistan. This will be a landmark occasion as it marks Afghanistan’s first-ever T20 International match played in Pakistan. Following this, Sri Lanka and Afghanistan will clash in Rawalpindi on November 19.

All subsequent matches, including the final scheduled for November 29, will be held at Lahore’s iconic Gaddafi Stadium.

PCB Chief Operating Officer Sameer Ahmed highlighted the importance of the series, stating, “This tri-nation series will serve as an excellent opportunity for all teams, especially Pakistan, to prepare rigorously for the upcoming T20 World Cup.”
