Court Declares Case Against Babar Azam Null and Void

Babar Azam Cleared of Allegations by Lahore High Court

LAHORE:  (Web Desk) – The Lahore High Court has declared the filing of a case against former Pakistan cricket captain Babar Azam as null and void, according to 24News HD Channel.

During the hearing, the court accepted Babar Azam’s petition challenging the Justice of the Peace ruling that had allowed the case to proceed. The case stemmed from a petition filed by Humaiza Mukhtar, who alleged that Azam had promised to marry her after allegedly deceiving her, claiming she had become pregnant at one point.

An 8-page written order, prepared after examining the full record and hearing arguments from both sides, concluded that all allegations against Azam were baseless. Barrister Haris Azmat represented him in the proceedings. The court formally nullified the earlier Justice of Peace order.

With this ruling, the sexual harassment and blackmail allegations against Babar Azam are officially closed, clearing him of all accusations. The judgment allows him to focus fully on his cricket career without any legal or reputational burdens. Legal experts note that the case underscores the importance of due process, fairness, and credibility in handling sensitive allegations.
