PCB Announces PSL 11 Playoff Match Officials Team
Match Officials Confirmed For PSL 11 Playoff Stage Games
ISLAMABAD: (Web Desk) – The Pakistan Cricket Board has announced the appointment of Playing Control Teams for the playoff stages of Pakistan Super League Season 11, covering the Qualifier on April 28, Eliminator 1 on April 29, and Eliminator 2 on May 1.
For the Qualifier between Peshawar Zalmi and Islamabad United at the National Bank Stadium, ICC Elite Panel Match Referee Sir Richard Richardson will lead the officiating team. He will conclude his PSL 11 duties after overseeing 10 matches this season.
On-field umpiring for the Qualifier will be handled by ICC Elite Panel umpires Christopher Gaffaney and Alexander Wharf. The third umpire will be Faisal Khan Aafreedi from the ICC International Panel, while PCB’s Zulfiqar Jan will serve as fourth umpire.
For both Eliminator matches, former Sri Lankan international Roshan Mahanama will lead the Playing Control Team, continuing his long-standing association with the league, having officiated across all PSL seasons.
PCB Offers Affordable Tickets For Karachi Qualifier Match
In Eliminator 1, featuring Multan Sultans against Hyderabad Kingsmen in Lahore, on-field duties will be performed by Shahid Saikat and Asif Yaqoob, with Rashid Riaz Waqar as third umpire and Nasir Hussain as fourth umpire.
For Eliminator 2, ICC Elite Panel umpires Ahsan Raza and Shahid Saikat will officiate on-field, supported by Asif Yaqoob and Rashid Riaz in third and fourth umpire roles respectively. The match officials for the final, scheduled for May 3, will be announced later.
