Passport Delivery at Home Pakistan Now Begins
New Passport Delivery at Home Pakistan Service Launched
Pakistan – (Web Desk) – Pakistan has taken a major step toward easier public service by starting passport delivery at home Pakistan through a private courier company. The Directorate General of Immigration and Passports (DGI&P) introduced this facility so people no longer need to visit passport offices to pick up their documents.
This move came on the instructions of Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, who wants to make government services simpler and faster for ordinary citizens. Officials say the new system will send passports straight to the address an applicant gives during their application.
Just days before this announcement, Naqvi shared that all passport offices across the country now accept cashless payments. He explained that people used to wait in long lines for hours just to pay their fees. That problem, he said, has now been solved.
On his X account, Naqvi credited Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for pushing this idea forward. He said his team worked hard to turn the plan into reality and called it a real win for the public.
He added that this is only one part of a bigger plan to make government offices more open, quick, and user-friendly. He also thanked the passport department staff for their hard work and dedication.
With home delivery now available, applicants across Pakistan can expect a smoother, faster, and less stressful experience when getting their passports.
