Pakistan’s Leading Companies Recognized for Diversity and Inclusion at Annual Awards

Bank Alfalah, Jazz World, HBL, and Engro Polymer & Chemicals declared “Most Inclusive Companies” at Global DEI Benchmarks Awards.

The 9th Annual Global DEI Benchmarks Awards, organized by HR Metrics, were held on April 15 at Marriott Karachi, recognizing organizations for excellence in diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Bank Alfalah, Jazz World, HBL, and Engro Polymer & Chemicals were named “Most Inclusive Companies of the Year,” while the Top 10 included HBL Microfinance Bank, Mobilink Microfinance Bank, Engro Fertilizers, Faysal Bank, Fatima Group, and ABACUS.

Speakers emphasized the need to move beyond compliance toward accountability and practical implementation of inclusion. Bank Alfalah President & CEO Atif Bajwa highlighted the “4Cs” strategy—Customers, Colleagues, Community, and Country—while HBL President & CEO Muhammad Nassir Salim underscored efforts to drive financial inclusion through digital banking. Other speakers shared progress in improving women’s representation, leadership, and financial access across sectors.

The awards were evaluated by an independent international jury. The GDEIB framework comprises 15 categories and 275 benchmarks, enabling organizations to systematically strengthen DEI practices.
