Pakistan’s Foreign Office Calls for Accountability of Israel for Its Crimes

Islamabad: Pakistan Foreign Office Spokesperson, Mumtaz Zehra Baloch, has emphasized the importance of holding Israel accountable for its crimes on the global stage.
Addressing a weekly briefing on Sunday, the spokesperson condemned the injustices perpetrated by Israel in Gaza, calling for international action, particularly in light of the recent decisions by the International Court of Justice regarding Gaza. She stressed the need for Israel to comply with the rulings of international courts and face accountability for its actions.
“We condemn the atrocities committed by Israel in Gaza and demand accountability for its actions,” stated Mumtaz Zehra Baloch. She reiterated Pakistan’s unwavering support for the people of Kashmir, advocating for a resolution of the longstanding issue in accordance with the wishes of the Kashmiri people and UN resolutions.
Baloch further clarified Pakistan‘s position on several key issues, including the status of Afghan refugees and the country’s stance on the Vienna Document. She emphasized Pakistan’s commitment to facilitating the dignified return of Afghan refugees and reaffirmed the nation’s unchanged position on the Vienna Document.
Regarding recent diplomatic engagements, Baloch highlighted Pakistan’s acceptance of Palestine and reiterated that Prime Minister Imran Khan’s visit to China does not have a confirmed date yet. She also mentioned a security-related delegation from China that recently visited Pakistan, aiming to enhance security arrangements for Chinese nationals and companies in Pakistan.
Commenting on recent terrorist attacks in Iran, Baloch strongly condemned the attacks and expressed solidarity with the Iranian government and people. She reassured that Pakistan is fully engaged in investigating the attacks and will provide updates once investigations are complete.

Lastly, the Mumtaz Zehra Baloch stressed the global concern over the rise in Islamophobic incidents worldwide and called for collective action to combat this alarming trend. He urged the international community to hold Israel accountable for its crimes and address the growing threat of Islamophobia in various parts of the world.
