Shaheen Afridi’s Pakistan Opts To Field In Decisive ODI

MIRPUR: (Web Desk) – In the final and deciding ODI of the three-match series, Pakistan won the toss and chose to field first against Bangladesh. The match is being held at the Mirpur stadium.

Bangladesh will bat first as Pakistan looks to secure the series victory. Pakistan captain Shaheen Afridi confirmed that Shamil Hussain and Hussain Talat are unavailable due to injury, while Ghazi Ghauri and Saad Masood are making their ODI debuts. Saad Masood was capped by Haris Rauf and Ghazi Ghauri by Mohammad Rizwan.

Pakistan’s playing XI for the match includes Sahibzada Farhan, Moaz Sadaqat, Ghazi Ghauri, Mohammad Rizwan, Salman Agha, Abdul Samad, Saad Masood, Faheem Ashraf, Shaheen Afridi, Haris Rauf, and Abrar Ahmed.

Earlier in the series, Pakistan defeated Bangladesh by 128 runs in the second ODI under the Duckworth-Lewis method, after Bangladesh had won the opening match. The final match will therefore decide the winner of the series.
