Pakistan Reviews Measures to Improve Passport Services

ISLAMABAD: (Staff Reporter) – Director General Immigration and Passports Muhammad Ali Randhawa chaired a meeting in Islamabad to review ongoing measures aimed at improving passport-related services for citizens.

The meeting was attended by senior officials, who discussed several key initiatives, including passport issuance and processing, the introduction of passport application facilities at NADRA registration centres, integration with the Pak ID mobile application and passport delivery services.

Muhammad Ali Randhawa directed the concerned officials to address operational challenges on a priority basis and improve coordination between the institutions involved in passport services.

He also emphasized expanding digital facilities and simplifying existing procedures to make passport applications and related services more convenient and accessible for citizens.

Officials were further directed to continue efforts to improve service delivery and make greater use of digital solutions to ensure faster, smoother and more user-friendly passport services.
