Pakistan Repatriates 30 Iranian Nationals, Dar Confirms Karachi Transit

IRANIAN NATIONALS – (Web Desk) – Pakistan has once again shown its commitment to humanitarian diplomacy. Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar announced that Pakistan repatriates 30 Iranian nationals Karachi transit, with both groups expected to pass through the port city in the coming days.

The 30 nationals include two separate groups. The first group consists of eight Iranian fishermen who were rescued at sea by the British vessel MMA Valour after their boat ran aground. The second group includes 22 Iranian crew members from the vessel Lenore/Davina, which was recently seized by US authorities.

Dar shared the update on his official X account. He said Pakistan is working in close coordination with Iranian, US, and UK authorities to ensure a smooth and safe transit for all 30 individuals before they return home to Iran.

Pakistan is pleased to facilitate the repatriation of 30 Iranian nationals.

This is not the first time Pakistan has played this role. Last month, Pakistan successfully arranged the return of 11 Pakistani and 20 Iranian nationals who were on board vessels seized by the United States. Those individuals traveled through Singapore and Bangkok before reaching home safely.

DPM Dar thanked all partner governments for their support in these efforts. He made it clear that Pakistan remains fully committed to humanitarian cooperation and will continue to assist in such cases wherever possible.

Pakistan’s active role in these matters reflects its position as a trusted and neutral diplomatic partner in a region facing serious tensions.
