Pakistan Police Encounter 2026 Leaves 10 Criminals Dead Across Three Cities
Faisalabad – (Web Desk) – In a major Pakistan police encounter 2026, as many as 10 dacoits were shot dead by special police teams operating across Karachi, Faisalabad, and Kandhkot in a series of back-to-back operations.
In Karachi, five dacoits were killed in the Industrial Area of New Karachi. Police received solid intelligence that a group of armed criminals was present in the area. When officers arrived, the dacoits opened fire first. Police shot back and all five were killed on the spot. SSP Dr Umara confirmed that these men had been robbing citizens near banks and were responsible for killing a milk trader on Khawaja Ajmer Nagri Road on April 20, 2026.
In Faisalabad, a Crime Control Department team raided the Rashidabad area after a tip-off about dacoit activity. The suspects opened fire as soon as they spotted the officers. After a heavy exchange of gunfire, four dacoits — Nazeer Ahmad, Shehbaz Ali, Aftab, and Haroon — were seriously wounded and later died in hospital. Police records showed these four men were wanted in over 200 criminal cases. Additional IGP Siddique Cheema praised the CCD team for their bravery.
In Kandhkot, police acting on credible information raided Mohammadani Road under the jurisdiction of A Section Police Station. The dacoits fired at arriving officers, but police returned fire and killed one. His companions managed to flee. The dead man was later identified as Hussain alias Talib Hussain Khoso.
