September 12 Meeting to Lay Groundwork for October SCO Government Summit in Pakistan
Pakistan has officially invited India’s Commerce and Industry Minister, Piyush Goyal, to visit for the upcoming Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Trade Ministers’ Meeting, according to sources.
The invitation was sent through diplomatic channels to Piyush Goyal. The SCO Trade Ministers’ Meeting is set to take place in Islamabad on September 12.

Trade and economic affairs ministers from SCO member countries are expected to attend this meeting, where they will discuss trade and economic cooperation. The outcomes and proposals from this ministerial gathering will be presented at the SCO government summit, scheduled for October 15 and 16 in Islamabad.
Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has also been invited to this summit.
