No Talks with PML-N, Says PTI, Dismissing Reports of Secret Negotiations
Gohar says none of party's member parliament are in contact with PML-N leadership for negotiations
Islamabad-PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar Khan has categorically denied reports of indirect dialogue with the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), stating that no PTI lawmaker is in contact with the PML-N leadership for negotiations.
In an interview with Geo News, Gohar Khan said, “The PTI neither offered any talks nor sought any favors.” He emphasized that the party has no desire to hold talks with the ruling party.
Gohar Khan’s remarks come amid reports suggesting a possible dialogue between PTI and PML-N. However, the PTI chairman clarified that only matters related to the National Assembly were discussed during their meeting with NA Speaker Ayaz Sadiq.
In contrast, Pashtunkhwa Milli Awami Party (PkMAP) Chairman Mahmood Khan Achakzai confirmed that PML-N had offered negotiations, but PTI’s response was not positive.
