RAWALPINDI:NAB Questions Imran, Bushra Bibi Over Toshakhana Scandal , A National Accountability Bureau (NAB) team from Rawalpindi concluded a four-hour-long interrogation of former Prime Minister Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, in connection with a new Toshakhana reference at Adiala Jail.
According to jail sources, the NAB team questioned the couple regarding the receipt and sale of gifts from Toshakhana, with Deputy Director Mohsin Haroon leading the investigation. The interrogation lasted for over four hours, focusing on allegations of misuse of authority and illegal sales of government assets.
Sources revealed that inquiries were made about the undervaluation of a Bulgari set, alongside questions concerning the violation of the 2018 Toshakhana procedures. The NAB team had previously arrested the couple on July 13, as disclosed by the jail sources.
Imran Khan sent on 10-day physical remand in May 9 cases
On July 14, the court approved an eight-day physical remand of the PTI founder and Bushra Bibi, instructing that the interrogation be conducted within the jail premises as part of the ongoing investigation into the new Toshakhana reference.
