Mohsin Naqvi offers CDA jobs to unemployed hockey players

Government promises support as national hockey players share their challenges with Mohsin Naqvi in Lahore.

Pakistan – (Web Desk) – Pakistan hockey players meet Mohsin Naqvi in Lahore and receive support, job announcement, and praise after World Cup qualification.

Players of the Pakistan national hockey team met Interior Minister and Pakistan Cricket Board Chairman Mohsin Naqvi in Lahore. The meeting focused on the problems and challenges the team members are facing.

Head coach Khawaja Junaid attended the meeting. PCB Chief Operating Officer Sameer Ahmed was also present. The Chief Financial Officer and other directors joined the discussion as well.

During the meeting, Mohsin Naqvi congratulated the players for reaching the Hockey World Cup after eight years. He appreciated their effort and praised their strong performance in the World Cup qualifier tournament.

Naqvi said the players had worked very hard. He also promised that the board would provide better facilities and support to help the team improve further.

Coach Khawaja Junaid said the team showed good spirit in the FIH Pro League. He added that the players performed well even during a difficult time.

ON the occasion, Naqvi announced to provide jobs to all unemployed hockey players in CDA.

Moreover, PCB will provide treatment to injured hockey players. Mohsin Naqvi said that, “We will provide full support to hockey players regarding fitness and medical issues”.

He said that PCB will continue to cooperate with hockey players as before.

Naqvi said that “the government’s cooperation will always be involved in providing you with maximum facilities”.

The players of the national hockey team thanked Chairman PCB Mohsin Naqvi for his full support which greatly encouraged the players.
