MNA Demands Transparency on Imran Khan’s Health Condition

Sher Afzal Marwat Calls for Imran Khan Health Transparency

Islamabad, Jan 28 (Web Desk) – Member of National Assembly Sher Afzal Marwat has raised concerns over reports about former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s health, saying that a lack of information is fueling public uncertainty.

In a statement on X, Marwat said that Imran Khan and his wife, Bushra Bibi, have been denied access to their family, lawyers, and political leaders for the past 105 days. He stressed that political differences or opposition cannot justify the suspension of basic human rights.

“Meeting prisoners, receiving treatment, and having access to information are not concessions but constitutional rights,” he said, adding that restricting these rights undermines justice and erodes public trust in state institutions. Marwat urged authorities to immediately allow visits and provide transparent updates regarding their health.
